THAILAND AND CAMBODIA YOUTH MISSIONS TRIP 2008

'...Before going on the Thailand/Cambodia missions trip in 2008 I had been attending LIFE leadership college.

I believe that this course taught me fundamental leadership skills needed for life. Not only has LIFE Leadership

College given me purpose, but it has also made very clear to me how I can contribute to society and enrich

other people's lives. I have a passion for children/youth and I really want them to know that they are valued

and cherished as people. I felt that this trip was an expression of just that. Not only did i have the privilege of

meeting people who lived in these areas but i had a chance to help change a life. As a team we emphasized

alot on the breaking of heart... our prayer was that God would break our heart for these people. I now know

what it means to have my heart broken for people... Everyday was an eye opener, everyday i encountered a new

way of living, everyday i was caused to think about the way i respond to these situations. God did some incredible

stuff through us. I personally had the opportunity to pray for a lady who was deaf and she got completely healed!

I would fully recommend going on a missions trip... I believe for anyone that goes on this trip it will be a life

changing experience that will challenge goals and life in the future. Leadership College...'
