STATION THREE: SALVATION
Here, we are able to take time to meditate on our own salvation - the gift of love, life and liberty we have graciously been given through Christ's sacrifice.
We then shift to focus on those in our own world who have yet to discover this wonderful gift, praying that they would find the power of Jesus' love in their lives this Easter.
Firstly, take time to reflect on the scripture below before moving onto the different responses below.
For it was only through this wonderful grace that we believed in him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving. We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfil the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfil it.

Take time to write down your salvation story, using these prompts to help you:
What was my life like prior to Christ? What did it revolve around? Where did I find my security, identity or happiness from, and how did these things let me down?
When was the first time I heard the gospel? What were my initial reactions? When and why did my perspective of Christ begin to change, and why did I finally decide to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour?
How is my life different now? What motivates me now? List some specific changes in your character, attitude and perspective on life. Even though life isn't perfect, how does knowing Christ help me deal with that fact?
If you’re with a group, each take time to share your own story.
RESPOND
Take time to write down people you're believing would discover the truth of Jesus this Easter. Contact each person—text, email, social media, however you want— to encourage them, reminding them that they are known and loved.
We've created some graphic templates and images you could use to help share the love with them.
RESPOND
Write down names of people you are believing to be saved onto small strips of paper. Put them in a jar, and set a reminder for once or twice a day. Each time the reminder goes off, take a name out of the jar and pray for that person, and then send them an encouraging message. Put their name back in the jar afterwards and shake it, ready for the next time.
Alternatively, you could write their names on a board, or on stones from the garden. You could even take turns to pray for each person, lighting a candle each time you do as a symbol of hope and light you're believing will to be discovered by them.
