About the team
Our carparking team is the first wave, smile, or "hello" for people on their way to church! Our purpose is to help people feel comfortable and welcomed even before the congregation set foot in church.
We help remove the stress of finding a carpark, especially for those with mobility challenges and our families with bubbas. We love to give a warm welcome to those coming to church whether it's for the first time, or if they already call LIFE home and help to ensure the safety of pedestrians in and around the carpark by managing and directing the arriving and departing cars.
What we do
• Carpark cones set up and general tidy/pick up of any rubbish outside the building
• Welcome and Farewell people upon arrival and departure
• Direct and manage vehicular flow from the moment cars arrive and depart while helping ensure the safety of pedestrians in or around the carpark
Did you know?
Our North & South Campuses require a Carparking team of 4-6 people at each service. Central needs up to 10 people per service.
In rain or shine, our car parking team are dedicated to the role they play in making others feel at home on a Sunday, while having a lot of fun together as a team.
"For me, being part of the Carpark team is having the opportunity to be the first smile and wave after what is often a battle through South Auckland traffic."
