LIFE Global Impact

You’ll be well aware that our government’s COVID-19 response is now at Alert to Level 1 as we continue to safeguard the health and best interests of our nation. As a church, let’s all remember to honour our leaders and to pray for them.

Part of the Government’s ongoing response is that New Zealanders are advised not to travel overseas at this time. The New Zealand Government continues its travel advice to “do not travel” – the highest level – regardless of destination.

There are extensive border restrictions in place around the world and increasingly limited transport options.

As a result, LIFE Global Impact has put all trips on hold for the foreseeable future. Please still register your interest for a team and we’ll stay in touch around developments as the situation improves.

Global Impact is an arm of LIFE’s kingdom partnership, investing globally through strategic input, outreach trips, project-based support and prayer. Our sustainable partnerships bear the fruit of lasting and effective change.

Lives of nations are impacted and changed by the reality of Jesus, through empowerment of local vision and initiatives.

After starting our partnership with One Heart last year and through Legacy, funding the building of a new children’s home, we loved taking our first trip to Kenya in 2019. The focus of this trip was to bring God’s love, leadership and hands on ministry to the children, One Heart Staff & surrounding communities in both Kenya and Uganda.

We are believing for another team in 2020 who desire to be used by God to speak life, bring hands on help, and believe for a move of God as we engage with local churches and with the amazing Turbo community.

A long term partner is New Life Fellowship in Phnom Penh, which is a church passionate about reaching the local community. Each trip has various focuses which include kid’s ministry, building, teaching and discipleship. We have worked alongside New Life Fellowship for many years now and it is always an honour to travel to Cambodia and to partner with a Kingdom-spirited church.

In 2019 we had two trips to Cambodia in partnership with New Life Fellowship. Both trips contained an amazing opportunity to run age group specific church and outreach events, along with the training and investment into New Life’s ministry teams. This was an incredible chance to make a significant difference in these generations, along with equipping and inspiring the local church teams.

We had our first team travel to The Philippines last year, working in partnership with a church planted by missionaries in Lumambong Village the team helped build and restore the church – repairing walls and also extending it to coincide with the recent growth of the church congregation. The team then met with Inspire Church which is making a huge impact in the city of Manila. The trip was a great success and we hope to return this year.

We also partner with JF Ministries who take multiple teams to Nepal each year, and as a ministry have been impacting Nepal for many years. These teams have a big focus on training and ministry and always see amazing miracles. In just one trip in 2019, the team trained an unprecedented 1,600 people over four packed ‘Schools of Healing’, where more than 500 people received healing.
