About the team
Every Sunday, we have an amazing team who will pray with people after our church services. There is never a moment we don't need God's intervention in our lives, and having someone pray with us in those particularly challenging moments is always helpful. If you have a passion to see God move in people's lives we'd love to have you part of the team.
What we do
• Mid-week prayer over requests received from the weekend
• Sunday 7am prayer team to pray over the day
• Ministry team who are available at the front of the stage after Sunday services to pray for people (leadership requirement)
Did you know?
Did you know you don't have to be an 'expert' Christian to be part of the prayer team. A love for people and an open heart to God is all you need. We'll train you for the rest of it.
"Praying for people is something we love to do! There is power in prayer and it’s a privilege to hear someone’s prayer request and then bringing their need to God with them. Greg and I have often been on the Sunday ministry team and it’s such a joy to serve in this way. When someone feels to come forward in response to an altar call or just after the service, it’s a special time to pray in agreement with them. You know that the Holy Spirit is at work in their life and that these moments can bring significant breakthrough or healing. Everyone can pray! We have found over the years that the more we pray for people, the more we have grown in our own giftings and our ability to be led by the Holy Spirit as we pray for others. And of course, it’s really exciting when someone comes back later with a praise report. Our God is so awesome - He really does answer prayer!"
