DAY TWO

Individual:
I pray that God would create in me a pure heart.

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12

Collective:
We pray that we would be a church that restores a city.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you
agree with one another in what you say and that there is no division among you, but that
you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 1 Corinthians 1:10

They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to the fellowship and the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe and many wondrous and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All believers were together and had everything in common.
Acts 2:42-44

And I say to you that you are Peter and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades (death) will not overpower it. I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (forbid, declare improper or unlawful) on earth will already have been bound in heaven, and whatever you lose (permit) on earth will have already been loosed in heaven. Mathew 16:18-19
