About the team
This team plays an important part in who we are and what we are about at LIFE. Not only are Service Hosts a welcoming and friendly face at the doors as people come into our services, but they make sure that everyone can find a seat and feels at home. Service Hosts are responsible for outworking the flow, fill and hosting of our services.
What we do
• Welcoming each person into the auditorium, ensuring they can find a seat and managing the direction of flow throughout the auditorium
• Outworking door open/close times, performing service head counts and maintaining collateral
• Facilitating communion, hand outs and any giveaways when required
Did you know?
While team numbers vary depending on the campus size, 4-5 people can operate as an effective service host team. To ensure a seamless and smooth flow, our Central Campus service host teams require 12 people to ensure every person feels at home.
"At my core I am a server, I love feeling helpful and so does my husband. So Service Hosting was a good fit for us to serve somewhere together and to use our God-given gifts. The best moments are when you get the opportunity to help someone who needs a little more assistance, smiling at someone and getting a smile in return, getting to know the regulars, watching people come together with common cause, and being a part of something bigger and bringing people to God."
