CALLED OUT

What would it look like for a generation to courageously follow Christ through both the storms and mountain tops? A relentless pursuit that without hesitation would substitute the known for the unknown in response to His voice.

Having experienced the presence of the Son of God, what choice is left but to live a life Called Out with faith that echoes from the inside out.

Matthew 14:22-33

WHAT IS EPIC SUMMERCAMP?

Epic Summercamp is one of the most important times of the year for all high-school aged students. This is our time to come together as one youth ministry, with one agenda – To encounter the presence of God. Summercamp is the perfect environment for your young person to develop a greater connection with friends, both new and old, connection with their Connect Group leaders and develop a greater personal connection with their heavenly father.

Summercamp is jam-packed with youth-specific services aimed at equipping and encouraging all youth for the year ahead. They will experience world-class communicators, both external and in-house, praise and worship, a showcase of dance and vocal items, competitions and tribal wars, beach trips, team-building exercises, group morning tea and discussions, dance parties, late night chats and games and much more!

This year we are so excited to be upgrading Summercamp to one of New Zealand’s hot spots, Cooks Beach. This location is the perfect next step to help facilitate our growth in registration numbers, and gives our Youth the opportunity to be part of the new and improved Summercamp experience.

GUEST SPEAKER

We are excited to announce we have Ps. Josh Kelly from Wave Church in Virginia Beach joining us! Josh and his wife Brooke are Campus Pastors and Executive team members of Wave Church. Josh not only has a heart for Youth but is a brilliant communicator of the word of God that will have Epic Summercamp in fits of laughter.

FAQs

WHAT ARE THE FOOD/CATERING OPTIONS?

We provide a basic Vegan meal option – we encourage you to provide extra food where possible.

We have a full in house catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We ask that each young person brings their own plates, bowls and cutlery sets.

Although we do not offer any substantial meals for sale outside of our usual catering, we do have a tuckshop on site open during all break and extended hangout times. This tuckshop is stacked with drinks and snacks if any young person would like to make a purchase.

WHAT ARE THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS?

This year our Summercamp will have two separate locations for girls and boys to set up their tenting equipment. We will have allocated areas for the three Campuses to set up their tents.

We also ask that each child is considerate of others when it comes to sleeping time. Summercamp has very full days that require energy and attention. Bed time means sleep time.

WHAT IS THE SERVICE OUTLINE?

Please note that our services are fully equipped with festival grade lighting and sound. If your child is prone to seizures or sensitive to flashing lights – please contact our team immediately.

We have opportunities throughout our services that allow young people to respond to various altar calls and prayer needs. As a team, we are not trained or qualified counsellors, and recommend if there are ongoing life controlling issues that they are passed into the care of a professional counsellor.
